Cons of Betflip

• Reputation I would expect a site with so many bad reviews (bad player experience, bonus related problems, cryptocurrency related issues, unhelpful support, voided bets, withdrawal delays) to take customer complaints seriously, but there is no evidence that Betflip is doing this.
• License. Betflip isn’t licensed in the best places like Malta and the UK. Instead, it is licensed in Curaçao. It is a good idea to look at how the website handles player issues before depositing any money.
• Promotions. Betflip provides ‘okay’ promotions at best.
• VIP Program. Betflip doesn’t seem to offer a VIP program at this time.

BetFlip doesn’t have a very good reputation. They have numerous negative reviews that have not been addressed by the casino on both Casino Guru and Trust Pilot.

There are also a couple of threads on Bitcointalk that denounce the site as a scam site. However, much of the problem may be from not thoroughly reading the terms and conditions of the site.

BetFlip licensed and regulated by Betgames Group B.V. Cybertech B.V.’S registration number is 136922 and its registered address is Heelsumstraat 51 E-Commerce Park, Curacao.

Security Features

The website itself has an SSL certificate, which is pretty typical. Registration only requires an email address, username, and password. You can also set up two-factor authentication, which provides some extra security for your account.

BetFlip also has provably fair games. According to the casino, all of their games are provably fair and they even explain how it works on their website.

Reputation of Owners

Cybertech B.V. is based in the Netherlands and registered in Curacao.

Complaints Received

The vast majority of the negative reviews on Casino Guru, Trust Pilot, and BitcoinTalk are due to BetFlip requiring players to take bonuses whether they want them or not, and then imposing very high wagering requirements, making it extremely difficult to withdraw winnings.

Other complaints include players being unable to withdraw funds, even when they managed to achieve the wagering requirements. Others site getting no help from customer service or getting their accounts flagged for breaking the rules when they tried to make withdrawals.

None of these complaints have been addressed or resolved by the casino.

4. Prohibited Countries

Before I move forward with the essence of my BetFlip review, make sure you don’t play on this platform if you reside in one of the following countries:

Users from Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and minor outlying US islands are also prohibited from play. They go on to say that players who breach the Restricted Countries policy cannot be guaranteed successful processing of withdrawals or refunds.

There is also a spot for scratch cards, which sounded like something different to try. Unfortunately, when I clicked on it, there was nothing on the page.

The table games were a little slow to load, but once loaded play was smooth with nice graphics and sounds.

Jackpot games loaded quickly and had bright, engaging graphics and fun sounds. Oddly, I’m finding myself getting hooked on slots with fruit… But I digress..

One feature I always enjoy is being able to play demo games. In fact, I was a little disappointed that there weren’t more demo games. But considering that some sites don’t offer any demos, I got over the disappointment quickly.

This is especially great when there are new games that I haven’t tried yet. It’s also a smart way to hook beginners who’ll want to keep playing for real money when they see how much fun they are having (not to mention the winning potential).

BetFlip also has a decent selection of live casino games like roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, wheel of fortune, and others. I had trouble getting some of these to load, but the ones that worked were well done.

I was pretty impressed with all the options available. Everything is logically organized so it’s simple to find exactly what you want.

No exotic betting is offered, but there are plenty of other games to keep you busy. And, there is a special bonus offered just for sports!

The Sports Bonus gives you a 111% First Deposit Bonus up to €1500 to be used on all your favorite sports, not counting virtual sports. I’ll go into greater detail on this in the section on bonuses later in this review. But it’s a nice little perk if sports betting is your thing.

Platform Features and Functionality

Overall, the BetFlip platform is easy to navigate and simple to use. Most games load quickly and play smoothly.

The BetFlip platform is designed to work equally well whether you’re on a computer, tablet or smartphone. This means you can play anywhere you want with ease, as long as you have an Internet connection.

It also doesn’t matter if you have an iOS or Android operating system. The mobile platform works well on both with no difference in play.

Design and Appearance

I’ve seen some complaints about the appearance being bland, but personally, I liked how the site looked as a whole. It’s bright and clean instead of the black background that many sites use.

Sometimes too much dark feels, well, dark. I appreciated the change, though you may have a different opinion.

Everything on BetFlip is easy to find, easy to see, and easy to use. The mobile site is just as easy to navigate and use as the computer site. BetFlip doesn’t have an actual mobile app, but the site is designed to be easy to see and use on your mobile phone or tablet.

I was impressed by this because some sites are just difficult to see on mobile. And of course, if it’s hard to see, it’s hard to play.

Registration Process

The registration process is simple as well. All you need is an email, username, and password. You can also register with your Facebook or Google accounts.

Your personal information is required to claim bonuses. They also reserve the right to request a KYC, to check your identity prior to processing payouts, and to hold withdrawals until your identity is verified.

When you register with your email address, you’ll receive a verification email. Mine went to my spam folder, so make sure you check there for it. Then click the “verify account” button in the email.

After you do that, you can make your first deposit and claim your bonus.

BetFlip offers an impressive welcome bonus. You will receive a bonus for each of your first 10 deposits! To receive your bonuses you must make a minimum €10 or crypto equivalent deposit.

Terms of the Welcome Bonus

Include:

• Bonuses are automatically credited to your account
• To make a withdrawal of winnings generated from no deposit bonus, players must make a minimum deposit of €50 or crypto equivalent
• When placing wagers, if you have a remaining balance in the same currency as bonus funds, your remaining balance will be used before your bonus funds are used
• Wagering should be in the same currency as bonus funds. If a bonus is given in Bitcoin, but the player has funds in Litecoin, placing wagers with Litecoin won’t count in bonus wagering
• The rollover requirement for bonuses will be 45x (Deposit+Bonus). Bonus funds can’t be withdrawn until the rollover requirement is met

BetFlip offers some interesting promotions as well. They have a sports bonus, a weekend reload bonus, and live casino cash back. However, I have seen casinos with more bonuses and almost everyone offers a VIP program, which BetFlip does not.

Also, these bonuses seem to be where people get tripped up, hence the complaints. Many players find the wagering requirements related to the bonuses to be unreasonable.

Sports Bonus

The sports bonus gives you a 111% first deposit bonus up to €1500 to be used only on sports. It cannot be used with any other offers and cannot be used in the casino section of BetFlip.

• A minimum of €10, or equivalent in the currency of the account, real money must be deposited to qualify
• Wagering must be 15 times the turnover of the initial balance (deposit + bonus). For example, if you deposit €10, you’ll get an €11 bonus, making your bonus balance €21. You would be required to wager €21 x 15 = €315 in the Sportsbook before you can cash out.
• Virtual sports bets do not count toward wagering requirements
• Players have 21 days to turn over the bonus + deposit, or the bonus will be forfeited

Weekend Reload Bonus

Every weekend, if you deposit a minimum of €10, or equivalent, it will be matched with a 100% bonus up to €1500!

Live Casino Cashback

You can get 20% of your net losses up to €5000 in real money. This is only for the live casino.

• Cashback is calculated on real money actual losses of money deposited every week, Monday through Sunday
• The minimum cashback is 20 EUR/20 USD
• To claim cashback, contact customer support via chat or email
• Bets made using bonus money and bonus winnings do not qualify
• Cashback is credited within 24 hours of contacting customer support

An important note: There are LOTS of games that are excluded from the rollover requirement, so make sure to read the terms and conditions thoroughly. Jackpot games, all Megaways Games, and all Xways games are excluded from being played with bonus money.

BetFlip’s customer service is the subject of many complaints, but I, personally, found customer service to be responsive and helpful.

Customer service chat is clearly visible on each page and is available 24/7. You can also contact customer service via email or the support page.

Responses are fast, usually within minutes in my experience. Others have said they received no response when they had questions about their accounts and making withdrawals.

As I mentioned previously, the complaints regarding customer service have not been addressed by the company, which is a big red flag in my opinion.

Obviously, this is a huge concern. If you can’t withdraw your winnings and can’t get help from customer service, you’re not likely to want to play. Gambling already carries a risk of losing money. Customer service shouldn’t be a gamble as well.

Withdrawals can be made at any time. Maximums vary based on the withdrawal method. For example, EUR has a minimum withdrawal of 10 and a maximum of 1000. ETH is a minimum of .02 and a maximum of 12. BIC is a minimum of .0001 and a maximum of 1.

The casino does not charge any fees, so the only fees you pay are those associated with your payment method.

Payout Speed

BetFlip says transactions are instant, but they are not initiated until all the necessary checks have been completed by their payment department. There is nothing saying how long this takes.

As I already mentioned, many people have had difficulties withdrawing their winnings. Even when they have achieved the wagering requirements, some have been unable to make a withdrawal.

Having said that, it’s hard to answer how fast payout speed actually is.
