Top Three Crypto Airdrops For The End Of March

March 2025 is ending with intriguing crypto airdrop opportunities for the community. New projects on the Bitcoin Layer-2 Network and Ethereum scaling solution are offering early adopters an opportunity to earn free token rewards.

Here are the top three airdrops for the last week of March 2025.

Tari

Tari is preparing to launch its mainnet in April 2025. Built as a proof-of-work Layer-1 network, Tari focuses on digital asset management and community-driven mining.

Users can currently earn ‘Gems’ by mining testnet tokens (tXTM), completing platform quests, referring others, and holding high-scoring Yats domain names.

These Gems may influence future token distribution. However, some participants have raised concerns about unequal distribution. A few top users already hold large amounts of Gems, leading to speculation about whether the system includes caps to prevent excessive concentration.

Tari has set aside 5% of its total token supply (XTM) for airdrop programs. Distribution is expected about six months after the mainnet goes live. Community tokens will follow a 12-month vesting schedule.

The project’s mining algorithm is resistant to ASIC hardware, promoting more even access to rewards among individual users. Additionally, special in-platform collectibles like ‘Turtle Shells’ and ‘Sky Hammers’ could increase airdrop eligibility for those who earn them.

US users are excluded from airdrop participation, but the opportunity remains open globally until mainnet launch.

GOAT Network

GOAT Network launched its Alpha Mainnet on 17 March 2025. It aims to bring programmability and DeFi features to Bitcoin through a Layer-2 framework. Instead of offering a one-time airdrop, the project rewards users based on their activity through its ‘One Piece Project’.

Users can interact with the network by bridging tokens such as BTC, BTCB, and Dogecoin (DOGE). They can mint non-transferable NFTs and engage with applications like GOATSwap and Oku. In return, participants earn GEC (a Proof-of-Activity metric) and GOAT Points.

These rewards are expected to convert into GOATED tokens after the Token Generation Event (TGE) scheduled for later in 2025.

The project has allocated 6% of its token supply for airdrop-based rewards. It plans to use 42% for sequencer and community mining, and 1% for influencer collaborations. GOAT Network emphasizes participation and liquidity contribution, rather than passive claiming.

The public mainnet and token launch will follow later this year, positioning GOAT Network to play a larger role in Bitcoin’s DeFi expansion.

MegaETH

MegaETH is an Ethereum Layer-2 protocol capable of processing 100,000 transactions per second. The project has launched its testnet but is not offering a direct airdrop.

Instead, the project uses an NFT-based reward model to recognize user engagement. Backed by a $20million seed round and support from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, MegaETH is testing a different approach to community building.

The team has clarified that public testnet usage won’t lead to immediate token rewards. However, early users continue to engage, expecting their activity may influence future decisions. MegaETH has signaled that its goal is to evaluate infrastructure performance, not attract short-term airdrop seekers.

Participants tracking MegaETH are also watching connected initiatives like CAP Labs and Noise for possible ecosystem-linked benefits.

While there is no confirmation of a token airdrop, early interactions remain open and free, offering users a chance to stay ahead if the project introduces rewards later.
