The resilience of the technology is equally as strong as the people behind it. I expect the next 10 years to be even more fruitful.

There are now thousands of cryptocurrencies, hundreds of exchanges, and billions of dollars invested in startups and ICOs. Some of the most notable competition the industry witnessed was from the contentious forks of Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV, which are blatantly competing with the Bitcoin we all know, but simply cannot seem to stop it. Ultimately, all of this competition is positive, more competition creates better technology.

Blockchain technology and the broader cryptocurrency market will continue to innovate the way we share money and interact with the web. We have seen micro-tipping take place on major platforms such as Twitter and Reedit, projects such as BAT come to reward content creators, and ambitious entrepreneurs looking to tokenize all of Wall Street’s assets. Satoshi’s original vision was to introduce digital cash to the world, and that he did, but we believe this industry is growing into something even more than he imagined - we hope “he” is proud.

Most importantly, the cryptocurrency industry continues to thrive despite legal headaches, exchange hackings, and skeptics trying to block innovation along the way. The resilience of the technology is equally as strong as the people behind it. I expect the next 10 years to be even more fruitful.
